Creating a Quick Buyer/Seller Search in Follow Up Boss
Buyer Search (Quick Buyer Search)
Navigate to Search → New Search → Quick Buyer Search.
Name the search (this becomes the email subject line to the client).
- Example: zip code + description.
- Input search criteria (e.g., zip code, price cap such as $1.4M, property type like single-family residence).
The system shows results: new listings, pending, and sold properties.
Create the search, and Follow Up Boss sends an email to the client.
- Email highlights new listings first, followed by pending and sold.
- Clients can favorite, mark as possible, or view properties directly in the Super Portal.
Seller Market Update (Quick Seller Update)
Navigate to New Search → Quick Seller Update.
Name the search clearly (best practice: use the property address so the email subject line is personalized).
- Example: Market Update for 1201 Bowie.
- Input criteria: zip code, elementary school, property type.
Choose update frequency (daily, weekly, monthly).
Create the search.
- Seller emails prioritize sold data first, then under contract, and finally active listings.
- Unlike buyer emails, sellers don’t have “favorite” or “suggest” options, but they can still view details and open the Super Portal.
Key Differences Between Buyer vs. Seller Emails
- Buyer Email: Prioritizes new listings → pending → sold. Includes engagement options (favorite, suggest).
- Seller Email: Prioritizes sold properties → under contract → active. Engagement buttons are removed, focusing on market data.
