Intro Video for New Leads/Contacts
Video meetings are popular because you connect with the attendees when you can see their faces and eyes. Smiles, eye contact, and gestures mean a lot and go a long way!
If you work internet leads, you know that the #1 goal is to progress the conversation. From least to best, you build rapport by: Email/Text < Phone Call < Video Call < IRL Meeting. Video intros allow us to "skip" to video (sort of) if/when the lead clicks.
Rachel Pulliam recorded an amazing video introduction.
Why is this so good?
- It's short - under 30 seconds.
- It's personable. Rachel is friendly.
- Rachel maintains eye contact and uses friendly gestures.
- It's funny, but not over the top. No one wants to talk with AI or an auto-responder. Rachel pokes fun at that in a friendly way.
How did she do this?
- Rachel used Loom to record this. (There are many good options, but we know that Loom works super well.)
- There are 3 shape options when you record a loom - full screen, big circle (what Rachel used), and small circle.
Use whichever option you prefer and don't overthink it!
What about email templates?
You'll want to reuse the same video unless it's a great new contact and you're creating a custom video for them. In order to leverage email templates, follow the guide below:
