Email Deliverability Problems / Checklist

Email deliverability is incredibly important and can be very frustrating. If you're having problems with email, please follow these steps and answer these questions:

1) Are you using an @bramlettpartners.com domain? If so, DKIM/DMARc/SPF are set up correctly and there is no problem with the domain (or we would know about it!) We are monitoring everything through Postmaster Tools, MXToolbox, and other blacklist checkers.

Yes - Using @bramlettpartners.com

  1. Are you getting bounced or spammed?
    1. Bounced = You get a message that says "not delivered" (or similar) emailed back to you. If so, we need to see this message. If you've received more than one, we need to see 2-3 of them.
    2. Spammed = Someone told you that your message went to spam. If so, we need to know their email address. If more than one, we need all of the email addresses.
  2. Did you send this email through gmail.com (or your phone), FUB, or through the Portal?
    1. If through FUB, was this a batch email?
      1. For Support reference: How does the FUB domain authentication page look?
    2. If through the Portal, was this an automatic email like a property update or something else?
  3. Do you have links in your email signature?
    1. Very weirdly, links to Google Drive attachments will cause lots of problems. Other links and/or phone numbers will sometimes cause problems.
    2. Please make sure we have the email signature that was sent from this email.

No - Using a team/custom email

  1. Is your DKIM/DMARC/SPF set up correctly?
  2. Have you checked Google Postmaster Tools to see what it says?
  3. Have you checked your IP address and domain to see if it's on any blacklists? https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx
  4. If you sent a newsletter, did you check https://www.mail-tester.com/

*After checking everything here, let's go through the same checklist as the "Yes - Using @bramlettpartners.com" list above.
