Email Bounce & Drop Handling

We are currently storing the following types of emails in SP:

  1. Market Updates
  2. CMA Emails
  3. Tour Emails

Whenever there is a bounce or drop related to the above emails, the system performs the following actions:


Bounce:

  1. Delete the email from FUB for all matching profiles.
  2. Send a note to FUB.
  3. Add the tag “SP - bounce unsubscribe” to FUB.
  4. Unsubscribe from SP.
  5. Send an email notification to the agent, team admins, and company admins from that team.

Drop:

  1. Send a note to FUB.
  2. Add the tag “SP - drop unsubscribe” to FUB.
  3. Unsubscribe from SP.
  4. Send an email notification to the agent, team admins, and company admins from that team.

The handling of drops is similar to bounces, except that we do not delete the email from FUB.
