  • No Separate Sick Leave: There is no dedicated sick leave policy. You can use your accrued PTO for any illness-related absences.
  • Notification Requirements: If you are sick and unable to work, you must notify us as soon as possible. Same-day notification is typically required.
  • Documentation for Extended Absence: A doctor’s note may be required at any time. If you are absent for more than two consecutive days, providing a doctor’s note will typically be necessary.
  • Encouragement of Rest: We encourage you to use PTO to fully recover from illness, prioritizing your health and maintaining long-term productivity.
  • Confidentiality: Any details about your illness will remain confidential and will only be shared with necessary personnel.

Work From Home

  • Rest and Recovery Focus: We encourage you to use PTO for illness rather than working from home. Your health and well-being take priority over productivity during times of illness.
  • WFH Approval Requirements: If you feel you must work from home while sick, you are required to obtain prior approval from your manager or HR. However, approval is generally not granted, as we prioritize your rest and recovery.
  • Productivity Expectations: If you are approved to work from home while sick, you are expected to maintain normal productivity levels. If this is not possible, we ask that you use PTO instead to focus on your recovery.
  • Messaging on WFH Sick Leave: Working from home while sick should not become a regular practice. Please remember that taking time to recover is more important than work commitments and is essential for your long-term well-being.
