2024-2025 Real Estate Awards

We’ve put together a list of the most prestigious real estate awards for 2024-2025. Each award celebrates REALTORS® for their hard work and dedication to the industry, while each having their own selection criteria. Winners of these awards will gain recognition and access to a variety of professional perks. 

P latinum Top 50
PT50 recognizes residential real estate agents in the Austin and San Antonio area for their professional accomplishments, community contributions, and industry leadership. Applicants will be evaluated in categories of sales (60%), community involvement (25%), industry participation (7.5%), and designations and certifications (7.5%). 

Winners will become part of the PT50 Network and will receive a variety of benefits – including invitations to special educational and social events, and access to the Award Winning Agents platform.

Eligibility: All licensed agents are welcome to apply. There are no minimum requirements.

This award honors any active REALTOR® under the age of 40, who displays excellent leadership, outstanding community involvement, and is a well-rounded young professional. 

Winners are recognized in the Texas REALTOR® magazine, will be featured on Texas REALTORS® social media channels, and will be included in statewide press releases. Winners will also receive complimentary admission to the Texas REBar Camp, which is an event put on by the Texas Young Professionals Network.

Eligibility: Applicants must be under 40 as of August 1st of the award year. They must be a current REALTOR®, hold a valid Texas real estate license, and have no history of ethics code violations.

The National Association of REALTORS® 30 Under 30 award showcases the top 30 rising young real estate professionals. These winners are selected from hundreds of real estate agents and are featured each June in the REALTOR® Magazine.

Applications Close: Mid-January 2025
Application Fee: TBD
Eligibility: Any member of the National Association of REALTORS® who is 29 years old or younger as of May 31, 2024, and has not previously been featured as a 30 Under 30 honoree, is eligible. (Previous finalists who did not make the final list are eligible to apply again.) Judges will take into consideration sales volume, community involvement, and each applicant’s unique story.

America’s Best Real Estate Professionals, by RealTrends and Tom Ferry, is an award that recognizes agents and teams for their residential sales in the previous year, and is the only real estate award program that independently verifies sales data. Anyone who meets the minimum sales volume will be featured on the America’s Best Real Estate Professionals list and will receive state-level ranking.

Applications Close: March 31st, 2025
Application Fee: $175
Eligibility: Individual agents must have closed 40 residential transactions, or $16 million in closed sales volume. A team must close 60 residential transactions, or $24 million in closed sales volume. The following transaction types do not count – referrals, leases, commercial, land, lots, and multi-family.

The Thousand, by RealTrends and Tom Ferry, recognizes the top 500 agents and top 500 teams nationwide. Winners of this award are the top .5% of real estate professionals and are showcased in the Wall Street Journal for their residential sales performance in the previous year.

Application Fee: $175
Eligibility: Individual agents must have closed 40 residential transactions, or $16 million in closed sales volume. A team must close 60 residential transactions, or $24 million in closed sales volume. The following transaction types do not count – referrals, leases, commercial, land, lots, and multi-family.

The ABoR Industry Awards recognize outstanding contributions and achievements in the Real Estate industry. There are a variety of awards, including – REALTOR® of the Year, Broker of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Ethics Award, Team Award, and more. These award winners share the benefits of being recognized at an exquisite gala, and being featured on the ABOR website, along with ABOR's various social media channels.

Eligibility: All applicants must be a primary member of ABOR. Each award will have its own application and eligibility criteria.

This award recognizes the top Realtors in Central Texas based on their residential sales volume. Finalists and winners will be recognized for their achievements at a formal luncheon, and winners will be featured in the Austin Business Journal.

Eligibility: There is not a minimum requirement for sales volume. Only residential sales will be considered – leases, commercial, land, and multifamily units will not be considered. Only transactions with a 1% or higher commission will be eligible, and they must be in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet, and Caldwell counties.

Agent Awards (Require Peer Nomination)

The Five Star Real Estate Agent Award is a prestigious recognition given to real estate professionals who provide exceptional service to their clients. The award program, now in its seventeenth year, is the largest and most widely published real estate award program in North America, covering over 45 major markets.

Eligibility: To be eligible and selected for this award you must be an active licensed agent and have a minimum of five years of experience. In addition, agents must be in good standing with no complaint history and satisfy Five Star Professionals' one-year and three-year minimum production levels. This minimum production is evaluated after applicant data forms have been received.

The Spirit of TREPAC Award recognizes Texas REALTORS® who show outstanding performance in one or more of the P.A.C criteria (Participate, Articulate, Communicate). An agent will be nominated by their local board to be eligible for this award and winners will be recognized in the Texas REALTORS® magazine and at the Texas REALTORS® winter meeting.

Brokerage Awards

Austin Business Journal's 2024 Best Places to Work in Central Texas awards companies that have the best climate, atmosphere, and most importantly, engaged employees.
