New Recruit: Second Interview
When a new agent is being recruited, they will go through an introduction phone call and a 90-minute recruiting presentation + interview with Shelby. If the 90-minute meeting goes well, Shelby will move the agent on to a second interview with someone from leadership (Bailey or Lexie). The goal of this interview is to get in front of any potential onboarding issues and to make sure the agent is a good fit.
Workflow
- After Shelby's 90-minute meeting, Shelby will send an email to you and the agent.
- Respond to the email using the following template (can modify as needed):
It’s great to meet you over email! I really like to meet every new potential hire in person, but I respect your time and we can schedule this over Google Meet if you’d prefer. During our meeting, we’ll go over a number of questions and topics that we have (and I’d love for you to bring as many “detail” questions as you can think of). This is in an effort to make sure we get in front of any potential issues before you make your final decision and before we make our final decision.
So, all that said, what does your schedule look like and would you prefer to meet in person or over Google Meet?
Thank you!
- When the agent responds with their availability, finalize a time and send them a calendar invite.
- If in person, schedule it on the conference room calendar and be sure to add the agent as a guest. You'll need to add yourself as a guest as well.
- If on Google Meet, make sure to add a Google Meet link to the invite.
- At the interview, go over questions from this Google Doc.
- After the interview, let Eric know how it went. If all went well, he will move forward with an offer to the agent.
