Agent Outreach
During the slower recruiting months (roughly April to October) we need to prioritize agent outreach. This involves a scheduled phone call with the agent, where you talk for about 15-30 minutes about their business, their goals, how they are doing, and gain feedback on what we are doing.
Why?
- It provides value to the agents.
- It adds a touch and shows we care.
- We get a temperate read on the agent.
- We gain feedback on brokerage level services, goals, etc.
Process:
- Email about 5 of your assigned agents per week using the below template. Assigned agents are color coded in the Agent Outreach spreadsheet.
SUBJECT: Checking In
|
Hi (AGENT NAME),
I hope you're doing well! I'm checking in with all of our agents over the next few weeks and wanted to see if you have time for a call next week. I just want to hear about your business, your goals, and how we can help you keep doing what you do best! It shouldn't take longer than 15-30 minutes.
I know you're super busy so if you don't have time, no sweat at all! But let me know what your week looks like for a call if you do have time!

- As they respond, create calendar events called "Check In Call with (AGENT NAME)" and invite the agent to it.
- Look at the agent's goal setting PDF before the call for a little refresher.
- While on the call, ask them the questions in the Agent Outreach Questions Google Doc. Take notes if you feel you need to.
- In the FALL agent outreach, ask them if they plan to do goal setting.
- Update the Agent Outreach spreadsheet with their "temperature" and any notes.
- Fill out the Agent Outreach Google Form.
